I currently have both weekday evening (between 5pm and 8pm) and weekend (Saturday morning/early afternoon) time slots available.
If you have health insurance, I am often able to work as an out-of-network provider. Being an out-of-network provider means that, although I do not accept insurance in my practice, I can provide you with the necessary paperwork for you to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company. Many clients find that all or a portion of their session fees are covered by the out-of-network feature on their policies. Before starting treatment, it is helpful to call your insurance company to inquire whether you have out-of-network benefits for mental health services and an associated deductible; it is also helpful to ask your insurance company what percentage of a session fee they would cover.

As a solo practitioner, my practice is not set up to support crisis services or after-hours care. Additionally, my practice is not able to treat the following scenarios, which are most appropriately treated by providers and programs who can offer 24/7 coverage:
Individuals who have recently been discharged from inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.
Individuals experiencing active substance abuse.
Individuals engaging in active self-harming behaviors.
Individuals experiencing active suicidal or homicidal thoughts.
Individuals actively engaged in disordered eating behaviors.
If you are in need of this level of care, I would not be the right therapist-fit for you.
If you are experiencing a crisis or an emergency situation you can call 911, go to your local emergency room, or contact the national Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741-741).
Please contact me to set up a no-cost scheduling phone call. During this brief initial phone call, we will discuss what you are looking to work on in therapy, as well as review any questions you may have about my practice. If it does not seem like my practice is the right fit for you or if I do not have current openings, I will make sure to provide you with referrals to other clinicians. If it seems like we might be a good match and I have openings, we will schedule an appointment for an initial evaluation. Before your initial evaluation appointment, I will send you paperwork through my HIPAA-secure portal to review, electronically fill out/sign, and safely send back.
